Capture Diverse Views Of London Along The River at Night
On this night photography workshop we'll take you to two special locations for photographing London cityscapes at night.
Starting in central London, we'll first photograph Tower Bridge and the Shard.
Then, following a 15 minute ride on the Thames Clipper, we'll head east and visit a second, contrasting location where you'll have the opportunity to capture the modern architecture of Canary Wharf over the water.

Yesterday evening I attended the Thames Low Tide Night photography workshop. Once again I was not disappointed. I was nervous as usual, but Steve Franck was at his best, putting me at ease. He gave me great tips after I had set my camera and tripod up. He asked how comfortable I was using manual settings and that he was there to show me what to do if I had any problems. He showed me different ways using my camera on a tripod. I felt myself improving as the evening went on and took a couple of great photos of which I'm very proud. Steve showed where to take better photos from. There were six people in the workshop and Steve was able to give advice and guidance to everyone. I was allowed to make my own mistakes and Steve advised on how to get better shots. I look forward to my next workshop. Thank you Steve.Posted on Google![]()

I attended the long exposure workshop led by Steve Franck on July 12th, which was brilliant - I learnt lots and it was great fun. Steve was very knowledgeable, and good at explaining what each of us needed to know, despite our differing prior experience. It was lovely spending some time learning and practicing something I'd been wanting to do for ages, and to meet everyone else in the group too. Definitely recommended, and I look forward to doing a night photography workshop next!+3Posted on Google![]()

A thoroughly enjoyable and very instructive day of long exposure photography in London. I came home with a number of very pleasing images despite the lack of clouds against a blue sky. Thanks to the excellent Steve Franck for his patience and instruction.+0Posted on Google![]()

Steve Franck led us on our long exposure/ND filter tutorial down the Thames from Westminster Bridge to Surrey Quays taking in numerous opportunities to photograph movement using ND filters. Steve gave great insight and tuition and also was hugely helpful with the range of cameras and tripods in the group.Posted on Google![]()

I recently participated in a morning session photographing Boxers at The Repton Boxing Club in East London. It was an exciting morning creating images of this dynamic Sport. I felt confident creating images as 36expo was on hand to provide feedback and support throughout the morning session. I am delighted with the look and feel of my images😍 I highly recommend these workshops featuring different subjects, because I certainly got to learn about using the right Lens, seeing the quality and direction of light and timing my shots for a compelling frame. Each subject is different and Boxers are unique because they don't keep still. This was a fantastic session. I have done three session so far and I feel a little better each time. I will return for the next one. Highly recommended Michael Vincent.+16
