Creating Awareness

Generating awareness of what you do is a powerful way to gain customers and is something all photographers should do.

Using the customer profile you created, identify websites, blogs and publications that customers in your niche read and then create interesting stories or content that they can publish.

Think about unique insight, knowledge or connections you have with the places you would like to get published in.

The additional benefits of being published on other websites is that it creates links to your website which improves your chances of getting found on the web, and it enhances your reputation.

Use the worksheet to plan ideas for getting yourself published.

Your network is also a powerful way of generating awareness for yourself, so take advantage of opportunities to meet people in your niche, or who know lots of people in your niche.
