So, I thought we’d do a recce trip in Spring 2026.
We’ll spend 2 nights and 2 days in Tbilisi on arrival, followed by 2 nights and 2 days in Tskaltubo, then back to Tbilisi for 1 night before catching our flight the following morning.
This is a recce trip for a maximum of 4 people at a reduced price. It’s the first time I will have been, but the trip is well researched and we’ll have a local guide around Tskaltubo.
Itinerary as follows:
28 April – depart on the BA flight
29 & 30 April – 2 nights at the Mercure Tbilisi
Explore Tbilisi
1 May – travel to Kutasi – 3 hours by road, private transfer
1 & 2 May – 2 nights in Kutasi, Newport hotel
Explore the area around Tskaltubo, photograph the derelict soviet spas, with a local guide
3 May afternoon – travel back to Tbilisi for one more night
3 May – 1 night at the Mercure Tbilisi
4 May morning – Return on the BA flight
Cost £1,250 for the hotels with breakfast, transport in Georgia, guide, arrangements.
Flights and anything not mentioned not included.
Total 5 nights in Georgia starting on the morning of 29 April 2026, ending on 4 May 2026. You need to arrive in Georgia for the morning on 29 April.
