Great experience and learned a lot on the Night Photography workshopPosted on SteveTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. My very first Long Exposure experience. It was pitched perfectly to give me the basics and get me producing work immediately. Good grounding and some great advice in composition. I attended the Night Photography Workshop around Westminster and the London Eye and it was everything I hoped it would be and more. I was a little bit nervous because I hadn’t used my camera for a while plus, I had a new, so-far untested lens. Steve Franck, the tutor for the night, quickly put me at ease. He gave a brief introduction to some basic technical aspects of photography which are applicable to any form of photography and on their own would be a valuable takeaway. It was a small group but we were equally attended to and with Steve’s expert guidance my confidence grew and I was able to finish up with a good selection of images that I am very happy with. There were lots of great tips for producing interesting images and we were encouraged to experiment. I thoroughly enjoyed the workshop and Steve was an excellent tutor. I would happily recommend the workshop to anyone and look forward to trying some others in the future.Posted on Dr. Abdulaziz AlmutawaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently attended a long exposure photography workshop led by Steve Franck of 36exp Photography in Westminster. The course began with an in-depth exploration of the technical aspects of long exposure photography, including the use of histograms and various Neutral Density filters. As the workshop commenced under a cloudy blue sky, the weather gradually transformed into a blanket of gray clouds. Nevertheless, we expertly captured breathtaking long-exposure images that showcased the beauty of movement. Amidst the somber overcast, we also immortalized captivating black and white photographs. Steve guided us to several notable locations in London, creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere throughout the session. This workshop not only fostered creativity and inspiration but also encouraged camaraderie among participants. Overall, it was a valuable experience that I highly recommend to anyone interested in long exposure photography skills. The following images were taken during the workshop straight out of the camera without any editing.Posted on GordonTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently attended the Ballet Shoot at the English National Ballet. This was a wonderful event which I thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to anyone wishing to improve their photography. I was a little nervous at the beginning. However, once we began the session, I quickly found out that the dancer's and fellow photographers all very helpful. Thanks also to Steve for his patience and understanding. I will definitely do this again.
