Valencia Photography Holiday

Our Valencia Photography Holiday is your chance to spend a few days in a very pleasant city with a few like minded photographers and photograph some wonderful architecture.

Join the trip us if you want to brush up some photography skills, or simply get away and take some lovely photos.

You will photograph the modern architecture of the City of Arts and Sciences, the classic architecture of the Old Town, plus all the interesting things we see in El Cabanyal and we also take a trip to photograph a lake at sunset.

We will focus mainly on architecture photography, both modern and historic

There will also be opportunities for some general travel and landscape photography

During the trip we will shoot at dusk, dawn, daytime and at night

Who leads the Valencia Photography Trip?

The holiday is led by Andrew Mason, a professional photographer and founder of 36exp.

This will be his 6th visit to the city so he knows the best places for the best photos and can get you there quickly.

He also knows some great places to eat!

All of the photos on this page are his.

The Valencia trip includes photography guidance based around the following schedule:

Thursday early evening - shoot around the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias's, external shots.
Friday morning - dawn shoot around the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias's.
Friday afternoon - daytime shots to capture shadows, interiors and abstracts.
Friday evening - a break from the city to watch and photograph the sunset at Albufera Lake.
Saturday morning - market and old town exploration, internal and external architecture plus street photography.
Saturday Afternoon - El Cabanyal exploration
Saturday evening - shoot around the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias's, external shots.
Sunday morning - dawn shoot at the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias's.

Alongside plenty of photography, we also know you are on holiday so there is will be time for your own relaxation and socialising. We will organise places to eat in the evening if you wish to join us.

Included in the trip cost is tuition and guidance on the Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Flights and accommodation are not included.

Suggested flights::

8 October, arrive in Valencia ready to meet at the hotel at 5pm.

11 October, depart Valencia at lunchtime or later.
